Radio beacon transmitting a signal into the universe. The chaotic information that will be transmitted consists of hex-binairy code generated with a one megavolt Van de Graaff generator.

The Aquatron is an instrument that draws electrons from the surrounding pond. The generated electricity finds in a chaotic manner paths through the installation. These paths are monitored and fabricated into a pulsing signal that is broadcasted in the Ghz band. The signal is targeted towards nearby stars which I believe to be surrounded by planets inhabitable by.. who knows what. |

Final design as to be realized for the show 'Bio-art' in museum De Kunstkas in Kemzeke, belgium. The sculpture is a five meter high radiobeacon emitting an omni-directional pulsing signal towards the universe. The signal consists of a chaotic signal genarated using a one megavolt Van de Graaff generator. |
