Materializer Industries - 'Waterharpet'

The waterharpet project means to develop a series of intoners that act more or less as a stethoscope on water. Sounds coming from the surface of water normally outside the range of frequencies we humans can hear are made audible through pitching and amplifying them, leaving the inert structure of the sound data intact.

Exitator 2006		This device plays the string. Becouse of a greater circumference of the coil it is way more exact than in the V2.01 version used Tonsil coil.
Amplification 2006		The V2.02 is fitted with an ultra dynamic high-end mono amplifier to drive the exitator on the string Specs: 5/40000 hrz at 180W RMS.
maelstrom630e 2006		Maelstrom is equipped with six high-end mono amp units. They operate the coils that feed standing waves into the strings of the instrument.

Maelstrom630e 2006		6-string Harpet, 4/40000 hrz intoner. A circular tank will be added to the instrument surrounding it likea ring. Standing waves will appear in this looping tank using a technique not unlike feedback. This continuously cycling water makes unfold an ever shifting pattern that will be made audible through the Maelstrom instrument.
Initial design 2004		Through view for dry tank. Seperate units generate sinusses. This is how the Waterharpet was initially was designed. The Maelstrom 630e is the final stage in developing the final lay-out of for the interior of this intoner.
Fibonacci sequence 2003		The sequence of tanks surounding the central intoner is shaped according to a sequence found by Fibonacci. Their inherent resonating qualities are differing depending on each individual tanks volume. Purpose of the side tanks is to generate waves by creating circulation loops that are vulnrable to non lineair effects in the compartments.
Prototype v2.01 2005		Intoner of water surface conditions. (Steel, glass, electronics) Tuned to 1 Hrz./100 hrz.
Source of sines 2005		Water waves are an example of waves that involve a combination of both longitudinal and transverse motions. In this 40x40x100 tank a wavelength of +-1 Hrz wil be generated. It's own frequency.
